Aesthetics is defined as the pleasing qualities in an art piece, and this call seeks artworks that connect with viewers and create emotional engagement. We welcome a range of classical, modern, and creatively odd artistic interpretations of Aesthetics. The call celebrates contemporary visual arts in all forms and mediums, welcoming all abstract and representational artists to submit their art.
This opportunity is open to all artists worldwide, regardless of age, background, or career stage. All 2D & 3D mediums are accepted, including painting, drawing, digital, mixed media, sculpture, installation, fiber art, and photography. All styles are welcome, from abstract to hyperrealism, conceptual, figurative, contemporary, modern, surrealism, and minimalism.
Artists are encouraged to explore interpretations that push the boundaries of what aesthetic beauty can mean. Suggested themes include People and Portraits, Nature's Design, Urban and Rural Landscapes, Animal Grace, Still Life and Object Aesthetics, Visual Illusions and Dreamworlds, Emotional Abstraction, Classical Echoes, and Imperfect Beauty (Wabi-sabi).
