Overview
Artist-in-Residence Taipei, managed by the Department of AIR, Taipei Culture Foundation, operates two distinct residency sites: Taipei Artist Village in central Taipei City and Treasure Hill Artist Village in a historic community along the Xindian River. The program provides residence opportunities for artists from Taiwan and abroad, fostering international artistic and cultural exchange.
Residency Details
- Duration: 8-12 weeks
- Accommodation: Private accommodation with private or shared bathroom
- Taipei Artist Village: private live and work space
- Treasure Hill Artist Village: shared work space
Disciplines & Facilities
- Accepted disciplines: visual art, performance art, music, architecture, literature, curatorial and cultural research, interdisciplinary arts
- Work equipment: piano room, photo room, dark room, woodworking studio, dance studio, gallery space, basic equipment for visual and audio art
