The DSRA (Diplôme Supérieur de Recherche en Art) is a three-cycle diploma (Bac+8 level) delivered by ESAAA, validating doctoral-level research through artistic practice. It is designed for artists, designers, curators, and art critics with established careers in contemporary artistic creation. The program runs for three years (January 2027 to December 2029) and emphasizes research methodologies through practice and innovative research writing that can illuminate and valorize the specific character of artistic work.

Candidates must hold a DNSEP (Bac+5, Master's equivalent) or equivalent diploma and have prior activity in contemporary artistic creation. Projects should be fundamentally anchored in situated and ecosophic practices and demonstrate attention to research methodologies.
