Get matched →Fragmentos, an art and memory space at the Colombian National Museum, convenes plastic and visual artists or those with transdisciplinary vocations—Colombian or foreign—to present proposals for artistic interventions addressing Colombian internal armed conflict, international wars, victim memory, and peace-building, including peace agreement experiences and reconciliation processes in Colombia and abroad.
Participants must be professional plastic and visual artists or groups/collectives with at least 15 continuous years of professional work experience. For groups, at least 50% of members must meet this requirement. Experience is verified through exhibitions (solo and group), catalogs, art and cultural publications, and similar documentation.
The 2021 edition awards a monetary prize for research, production, and exhibition of an artistic intervention occurring between the second half of 2022 and the first half of 2023. The winner receives guidance and support from the National Museum in conception and museological installation.
Prize: 160 million pesos (approximately 45,000 dollars); Museum support for conception and installation.
