Overview
The Rockwall Art League 26th Annual Juried Fine Art Show and Sale welcomes artists from a five-state region. This 3-day event provides a platform for both experienced and emerging artists to be seen by art lovers, collectors, and business representatives from across the DFW metroplex.

- July 15 — Call for Artists opens on CallForEntry.org
- September 15 — Call for Artists closes 11:59 PM Mountain Time
- September 26 — Acceptance and rejection notifications emailed
- October 16, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Take-in for entries
- October 16–18 — Show exhibit on display
- October 16, 5:30 PM — Ribbon Cutting; exhibit opens to public
- October 16, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM — Artist Reception; award announcements at 7:00 PM
- October 17, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM — Artists' Social with judges
- October 18, 3:00 PM — Final awards announced; artwork pickup begins immediately, closes at 5:00 PM
- November 1 — Checks issued for sold artworks
Eligibility
Open to artists 18 years or older residing in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
Media & size
- Oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media (includes digital art), mosaic, drawing, photography, or sculpture
- Two-dimensional works: no larger than 36" × 36", including frame
- Sculpture: weight limited to 50 lbs.
- Hand delivery and pickup required; shipped artwork will not be accepted
What to submit
Submit 2–5 images of your artwork. Mixed media entries must include a brief description explaining what materials were used and how the piece qualifies as mixed media.
Awards
- Best in Show — $1,000
- 1st Place in each category — $500
- 2nd Place in each category — $200
- Special awards (ribbons and recognition only): Heather Lawley Memorial Award, People's Choice Award, Touches the Heart Award, Shine On Award, Showstopper Award, Hot off the Press Award, Mayor's Award, Images of Rockwall County Award, Around the Cities Award
