Artists are invited to submit their work for consideration for inclusion in The Art File, a curated online gallery, and for potential inclusion in annual exhibitions and other opportunities.

Get matched →The Art File is a curated online gallery hosted on The Painting Center Rethink website, designed to highlight the work of contemporary artists and expand their visibility within the broader art community. Artists accepted into the Art File receive a public profile on our website and are eligible to be considered for inclusion in our annual invitational exhibition and annual fundraising exhibition.
Artists selected for exhibitions will be contacted directly by The Painting Center. These exhibitions are funded in part by the gallery, with additional supplemental contributions requested from participating artists. Art File artists may additionally apply for: Gallery membership, Juried exhibitions, and a solo exhibition in the Project Room. Upon acceptance, artists gain access to The Painting Center Rethink Art File Resource Folder.
An annual Art File membership fee of $100 is required upon acceptance, following a review by the committee. This fee helps offset the costs of maintaining and promoting the Art File Gallery.
