Overview
The Berengo Foundation invites artists to work in Murano with master glassmakers, creating new works that are presented during Glasstress, a collateral event of the Venice Biennale of Art held in Palazzo Franchetti since 2009.

About the Foundation
Established by Adriano Berengo to preserve the centuries-old craft of glassmaking in Venice, the Foundation translates the language of craft into that of contemporary art. The Foundation also sponsors residency and internship programs as educational opportunities for students and contemporary artists.
