International Art Residency in Murano for 10 days for 1 artist
Murano, Italy

The Berengo Foundation invites artists to work in Murano with master glassmakers, creating new works that are presented during Glasstress, a collateral event of the Venice Biennale of Art held in Palazzo Franchetti since 2009.

The 10-day residency includes accommodation, studio space, basic materials, realization of a new work with master glassmakers, and final exhibition.

To participate, you must enter the Arte Laguna Prize with at least two works in the same section. You will receive an email with instructions to submit your application for the Berengo Foundation residency.

Established by Adriano Berengo to preserve the centuries-old craft of glassmaking in Venice, the Foundation translates the language of craft into that of contemporary art. The Foundation also sponsors residency and internship programs as educational opportunities for students and contemporary artists.
