Beyond the Image Art Prize 2026 invites contemporary photographic and lens-based artists to explore identity in the digital age. Two winning projects (one emerging artist, one established artist) will be selected for physical solo exhibitions in Milan during the Milano Centrale Festival 2026. The prize is connected to the SatisFace academic research project examining facial perception and digital representation.

Open unconditionally to artists of all nationalities worldwide. No age limits, educational degree requirements, or CV thresholds. Individual artists and collaborative groups are eligible.

Two winners (one emerging, one established) each receive a dedicated physical solo exhibition at Associazione Via Gluck 62 in Milan, official inclusion in the Milano Centrale Festival 2026 program, comprehensive curatorial guidance and promotional support, and potential financial contribution toward artwork production costs (amount to be agreed upon).

€19.00 EUR per submission via direct bank transfer to VIA GLUCK 62 International Artist Residency. Proof of payment must be attached to the application.
