Overview

Artist Opportunity Grants help Arizona artists take advantage of unique opportunities that can significantly boost their careers. This grant is open to artists of all disciplines and career stages.

Eligibility

  • Individual artist (not an organization)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Must live in Arizona
  • Can apply once per cycle

Grant Limits

  • Can receive only one Opportunity Grant every two fiscal years (July 1 to June 30)
  • Cannot receive both an Artist Opportunity Grant and a Research & Development Grant in the same fiscal year

Supported Opportunities

  • Introducing Your Work to New Audiences: showcase your work to expand your audience or raise your artistic profile
  • Developing New Skills: participate in conferences, residencies, workshops, fellowships, master classes, or apprenticeships
  • Building Your Artistic Career: strengthen business skills such as marketing materials, website development, professional fees (lawyers, accountants), or equipment/materials/rental fees
