Overview
The Culture and Art Programme funds Nordic cooperation in arts and culture projects with artistic and/or cultural quality that promote a diverse and sustainable Nordic Region.
Who Can Apply
Anyone in art and culture can apply, as long as the project is realized through cooperation with partners from at least three countries, at least two of which must be Nordic (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Åland, Faroe Islands, or Greenland). The applicant need not be a Nordic resident.
What Is Eligible
The programme funds all phases of art and culture projects: preparatory work, production, performance, and dissemination. Projects can include creating or presenting artistic works, developing knowledge and working methods, creating artist engagement opportunities, and organizing workshops and seminars.
What Is Not Eligible
Touring existing productions, day-to-day institutional operations, core funding for recurring projects, solo work without active cooperation, film/television/gaming/publishing, formal education projects, commercial activities, non-arts projects, projects already commenced, and activities already completed.
Funding Amounts
Maximum funding is EUR 100,000. Projects can receive up to EUR 7,000 without other funding sources, up to EUR 40,000 with at least 30% co-funding, or up to EUR 100,000 with at least 50% co-funding. Total Nordic funding cannot exceed 85% of project budget.
Project Timeline
Projects may commence no earlier than 10 weeks after the application deadline. Projects may run during the application year and the following two calendar years.

Assessment Criteria
Applications are assessed on collaborative dimension (must involve partners from at least three countries, at least two Nordic, with clear collaboration benefits) and Nordic dimension (project must develop cultural and artistic fields in the Nordic Region regardless of implementation location).
