About
Overview
Quiet Interruption invites artists to consider subtle moments that shift our attention—a pause, a shadow, a small disturbance, an unexpected encounter, or something almost overlooked. The work may be intimate or monumental, permanent or temporary, material or ephemeral. Artists are welcomed to engage with space, light, sound, movement, nature, memory, absence, or the everyday. Juried by Michael (Shem) Schemchuk, an American abstract and mixed media artist known for his multi-layered process termed "Abstraction by Design."
