Overview

CURRENTS is the annual PhotoNOLA Showcase exhibition at Ogden Museum of Southern Art, highlighting 8-10 portfolios of diverse photographic work. The 2026 juror is Bill Boling, book publisher and creator of Fall Line Press. Selected photographers will have up to four images featured in the exhibition.

Key Dates

  • Submission deadline: October 16, 2026
  • Exhibition: December 4, 2026 – February 1, 2027

Eligibility

  • Must be active member of New Orleans Photo Alliance (can join at time of entry)
  • Work cannot have been accepted in the immediate previous year of CURRENTS
  • Do not resubmit images featured in previous CURRENTS exhibitions (different images from a previously featured series are eligible)

Media & Submission Requirements

  • Photographs only: 4–10 images per artist
  • Format: JPG only, maximum 5MB file size per image
  • Size each image to 1800 pixels on the SHORT side

  • Submission Fee (Members): $25
  • Submission Fee + NOPA Membership: $60
  • Basic Membership: $35
  • Silver Membership (Online Profile): $60
