Overview
LAHI: Weaving Filipino American Stories in Indiana celebrates Filipino American History Month, observed in October. The exhibition commemorates the first recorded arrival of Filipinos in 1587 and invites artists to submit new or existing work exploring themes of identity, belonging, family, immigration, diaspora, community, activism, joy, resilience, and cultural preservation.

Open to artists across Indiana.
Themes
Artwork should explore one or more of the following: identity and belonging, family, ancestry and memory, immigration and diaspora, community and activism, joy, resilience and celebration, traditional and contemporary Filipino culture, or intergenerational stories and cultural preservation.
