The Fundación Ama Amoedo has opened applications for the fourth edition of its annual grants program, aimed at strengthening the visual arts ecosystem and its institutions.

Ten grants of $10,000 USD awarded across four categories.

  • Artists: Four grants for research or creation projects in the visual arts representing significant contribution to individual artists or collectives
  • Art and Social Engagement: Two grants for initiatives by groups, individuals, or non-profit organizations using artistic practice to promote education, social inclusion, and community development
  • Organizations: Two grants for projects by non-profit institutions or organizations dedicated to promoting, preserving, and disseminating the work of Latin American artists
  • Publications: Two grants for editorial projects focused on art and/or Latin American artists, with maximum completion period of two years from receipt of grant

Open to artists, artist collectives, art professionals, non-profit organizations, institutions, and foundations with significant connection to Latin America through nationality, cultural heritage, or project location.
