About DAS MINSK Kunsthaus
DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam is a museum for modern and contemporary art housed in a former terrace restaurant on the Brauhausberg. The building was constructed between 1971 and 1977 in the modernist style of the GDR. After restoration by the Hasso Plattner Foundation beginning in 2019, it has operated as the Museum of Modern Art in Potsdam since 2022, presenting works from the former GDR alongside contemporary art. Concerts, readings, and performances take place regularly, and the museum's Cafébar HEDWIG is accessible without museum admission.
