Overview
This 7th annual outdoor art and craft show in downtown Alden, Michigan, at Depot Park on Torch Lake features a maximum of 75 artists. The event attracted over 10,000 attendees last year. The focus is on handmade and artist-designed items, with consideration given to unique and creative gift ideas, authors, inventors, and designers for holiday gift giving.

Eligibility & Categories
Open to emerging artists of all levels. Artists may apply in up to 2 categories. Categories include: artist (handmade), artist production/studio work (no more than 2 assistants), artist studio work (more than 2 assistants), craft (handmade), craft production/studio work (no more than 2 assistants), inventor, designer, other (fair trade and items not made by your hands), and sponsors (service $500+). Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry.
Application & Fees
- Application Jury Fee: $15 if paid before July 5 (Early Bird); $25 after
- Booth Fee: $250 if paid before July 5; $300 if paid after

Booth Specifications
Booth spaces are approximately 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep with at least 2 feet between booths. Booth-and-a-half and double booths are available on a limited basis. All artist exhibitor tents must be white, except branded sponsor booths. No cheap camping tents or pop-up tents are recommended; if you use an EZ UP or umbrella-type pop-up tent, a minimum of 40 pounds per leg (160 pounds total) is required.
Display Requirements
Your booth display must be professional and pleasing to the eye with no handmade signs. Your display should reflect the pictures submitted for jurying—if your display changes, send updated photos. Booth checks are done Friday morning. Do not infringe on neighboring spaces without show director approval; no chairs in walkways or obstructing the art show flow.
Setup & Logistics
Easy load-in and load-out next to booth (weather permitting). Setup is Saturday 6:30am–9:30am. All vehicles must be off the festival footprint by 9am. There is no day-before setup. You will receive a setup email about 30 days before the event. Booth numbers are assigned at check-in.
