Overview
The City of Commerce City and the Commerce City Cultural Council seeks to purchase artwork for the newly expanded Buffalo Run Golf Course. The artwork will be placed on a wall measuring 26'7" L x 12'0" H.

Eligibility
Artists who reside in Colorado or the Colorado Region (Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona).
Theme & Requirements
The art selection committee seeks artwork that honors the agricultural history of the area with a rustic feel, inspired by movement expressed through wind, wildlife, and prairie grasses. The artwork should celebrate the natural history of the area, Commerce City community, and heritage, and should evoke joy, relaxation, and delight with a pleasing and uplifting effect appropriate for all ages.
How to apply
- Submit through CaFÉ™ (www.callforentry.org) only; no hard copy or email submissions accepted
- Digital Image Portfolio: maximum of five digital images of artwork, with at least one being the concept for this project; include dimensions for each work
- General Budget of Project
- Artist Statement: share information about yourself, your interest in Commerce City, your experience with public art and completed projects of similar scope and budget, how your artwork meets the criteria, your residency/work location, any local public art pieces, and whether your artwork is AI generated
