About
Overview
Julius Reichel floods Kostka Gallery with several hundred kilograms of discarded textile, from which a monumental object rises—matter that holds the wear and memory of many lives. The walls are lined with the artist's calligraphic texts and paintings, which mirror the chaos of a society oversaturated with information and disinformation. The title references the artist's inherited name, taken from his great-grandfather, whose fate shows through the fabric like a trace of lineage.
