Overview
ARTcetera 2027 is the Sioux City Art Center's art auction fundraiser held every three years. Artists contribute work to support the Art Center's exhibitions and educational programs.
Key Dates
- August 25, 2026: Call for entries opens
- October 18, 2026: Submission deadline
- November 3, 2026: Artists notified of selection
- November 20, 2026: Selected artworks and artist agreements must be received
- December 31, 2026, 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.: Artworks on view during Midnight Mirage NY Eve party
- March 19, 2027, 6 – 9 p.m.: ARTcetera Party
- March 29 – April 29, 2027: Unsold artwork pickup at Art Center during regular business hours
Eligibility
Regional eligibility. Complete the online application through CaFÉ by October 18, 2026.
Application Requirements
- Submit images of up to three artworks (1-3 images required)
- Provide artist name, artwork title, year, medium or materials, price, and dimensions
- Images must be 3mb or smaller, .jpg or .png format, 300dpi hi-res
- Provide a brief professional biography (100 words maximum) and current contact information
What You'll Receive
Selected artists receive 50%, 25%, or 0% of the final bid price (artist's choice), with remainder supporting the Sioux City Art Center. Selected artists receive one complimentary ticket to attend ARTcetera Party on March 19, 2027.
