Studio Alta is offering four residencies in Prague, Czech Republic, throughout 2027, open to individuals and organisations & collectives working in cross-disciplinary and performing arts.
Four Residency Tracks
- The House of Sweat (1–10 February): A residency for performative art projects conceived or adapted for Studio ALTA's sauna and immediate surroundings, exploring intimate spaces, audience proximity, and unconventional performative formats.
- House of Rest (between March and November): A five-day retreat for colleagues working in the arts who feel overloaded.
- House of Research (19–28 April): Intended for early-phase processes of exploration, experimentation, and material creation.
- House in the Neighbourhood (9–18 August): A residency for performative art projects created in collaboration with the local community and designed for public spaces in Libeň and surrounding area, this year focusing on projects working with the 55+ age group.
Support & Fees
Artist fees range between 6,000 CZK and 30,000 CZK, with a variety of support provided.
