Get matched →UAR is a one-year international online residency for emerging visual artists. Artists work closely with curators through weekly group meetings, one-on-one guidance, and exchange with a small international cohort. The program helps artists clarify their artistic direction, make stronger professional decisions, and prepare for their next career stage.
Artists may commit to the full-year program or begin with a 12-week quarterly entry and continue through subsequent quarters. Artists who complete all four quarters move toward a curated solo exhibition in New York City, followed by 1–2 years of representation through Uncool Gallery.
Emerging visual artists from anywhere in the world may apply.
Flexible payment plans and limited partial scholarships are available.
