Get matched →Inver Hills Community College (IHCC) invites artists and makers of any kind to submit work for the Student Scholarship Sale, held December 2-11, 2026. Every sale supports IHCC art students by raising money for the Art Scholarship award, and artists keep 60% of the retail price of each piece sold. This call is best suited to artists who already have finished work. Gallery 120 is currently transitioning their staffing, so hours and dates are yet to be determined.
Email Janell Hammer at [email protected] with subject title “Scholarship Sale” with 3 sample photos of your work and your interest in participating. The gallery coordinator will reach out with the sale form, which includes the inventory list and other documentation needed. At this point, they will work with you to schedule a drop off time or field any questions you may have.
All work must be ready for display, with an inventory sticker attached to each piece. The Scholarship Sale Advisor(s) may reject any work considered inappropriate for the sale. Check your work in with the gallery attendant in the IHCC Gallery, FA140, on one of the drop off dates. IHCC Students can drop work off with their professor. The sale advisor moves between classrooms and may not be in the gallery. If so, leave your work and form on the table in the gallery, or message Janell Hammer at [email protected]. If these days don’t work, email Janell Hammer at [email protected]
Every listing links to the organizer's official page. Always confirm deadlines, fees, and entry rules there before you apply.
IHCC retains 40% of the retail price of each work sold, which is donated to the Art Scholarship award. Artists keep 60%. To donate more than 40%, note the higher amount on your inventory list.
IHCC will make every effort to protect entries from damage, breakage or theft during the sale. Neither the IHCC Art Gallery nor Inver Hills Community College can be held liable for any loss or damage to your work.
To be determined*. Alternate dates are available by appointment or during the spring semester. If you can’t make these times, email Janell Hammer at [email protected].
Payment is mailed at the end of January, by check, to the address you list on your form. No checks are issued before the semester/winter break. You must complete the State of Minnesota Supplier application. If you took part in last year’s sale, you don’t need to repeat this. If you’ve done any contract work in Minnesota, you may already be a supplier/vendor. To register, follow the Minnesota supplier portal registration guide: create an account, then register as a “supplier.” Review and activation typically take two days. Open the Supplier Portal and enter Entity (individual sole proprietor) and TIN Type (SSN). Enter identifying information. Enter address information. Enter contacts. Enter payment information. Enter category codes (optional, not needed). Submit for approval. Write your registration number (also called the vendor or supplier number) on your form.
