About the Role
The Learning & Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for elaborating and supervising educational strategies and mediation activities relating to projects based in Fondazione Prada's various spaces in Milan, Venice, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The role takes an inclusive approach to various publics and involves establishing innovative programs of direct mediation, identifying different formats for specific target audiences, and participating in in-depth activities in dialogue with the Curatorial department.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish innovative programs of direct mediation for specific target audiences
- Participate in in-depth activities with the Curatorial department and share materials with Marketing & Communication
- Supervise indirect mediation and interpretation activities
- Formulate and oversee programs to develop educational tools and resources for schools and teachers
- Formulate and oversee programs for younger publics, individuals, and family contexts for informal learning
- Formulate and oversee programs to welcome and include individuals with specific needs
- Formulate and coordinate ongoing training for internal mediation teams and supervision for external teams
- Supervise direct mediation activities and workshops run by the mediation team
- Monitor and assess the impact of activities
- Optimize methodologies and implement procedures to improve efficiency and public relationships
Who Can Apply
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience in development of educational and mediation programs
- Degree in Museum Mediation, Art History, Art-Related Education, or similar subject
- Knowledge of practices used in cultural mediation and educational and inclusion methodologies
- Commitment to principles of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Solid practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing work patterns and situations
- Outstanding relational skills and aptitude for teamwork
- Attention to detail and excellence in analysis and written/oral presentations
- Excellence in both Italian and English; third language welcomed
- Professional experience outside Italy looked upon favorably
