Hillyer is accepting proposals for solo and curated exhibitions at its contemporary art space between January and December 2027. Proposals are open to local, regional, national, and international artists. Through a competitive selection process, 15 to 25 emerging and accomplished artists and curators will be chosen.

All proposals are submitted through an online form organized into five sections: Profile Information (name, contact, artist status), Proposal Statement, Exhibition description, Biography, and Support Materials. You must confirm your commitment to the exhibition calendar and provide engagement program descriptions.

Submit a link to a shared Google Drive folder containing up to 6 JPEG images, up to 3 videos (as direct URLs or anchor tags), and one two-page document (or alternative web page). Images should represent individual works and can include installation views, diagrams, etc. The document can include artwork descriptions, additional images, floor plans, or diagrams but should not exceed two pages.

All proposals meeting Hillyer's criteria will be reviewed by Hillyer's Advisory Committee, composed of established artists, curators, and arts professionals and chaired by director Tim Brown. The competitive selection process takes place over a 4–5 week period.
