Overview
The Walkers' Gallery invites artists to submit work to "I've Got the Blues," exploring the color blue, somber feelings, and the musical genre. Express yourself in any style—literal, symbolic, abstract, or personally meaningful. Strict adherence to the theme is not mandatory.
Eligibility & Content
All artists welcome. Content must be apolitical, non-violent, G-rated, and family-friendly for a public venue. No nudity allowed.
Media & Size
- Up to one large artwork (36" wide or larger), OR
- Up to two medium (20–36") or smaller works
- Weight limit: 30 lbs. per artwork
- Pieces must come ready to hang with hardware installed near the top
Submission & Labeling
Entry forms must be filled out online and submitted by the deadline. Attach a secure label to the back of each artwork with your name, title, and price. The gallery will create uniform wall labels.
Fees & Sales
No entry fees. The gallery retains no commission on sales. Work may be for sale or NFS (not for sale); if NFS, include an insurance value on the entry form. All sales are conducted directly between artist and buyer. Sold work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit.
