This is the 18th Annual National Juried Exhibition of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire, held online. The entire show will be posted on the PSNH webpage after the online award ceremony.

  • Entries Open: Monday, August 17, 2026
  • Entry Deadline: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
  • Acceptance Notification: Tuesday, October 27, 2026
  • Awards Ceremony & Artist Talk: Saturday, November 21, 2026, 3–4pm Eastern
  • Exhibition Closes: Thursday, December 31, 2026
  • Work must be original soft pastels only (no less than 80%). No oil pastels.
  • No classroom or workshop work allowed.
  • If painted from a photograph, the reference must be your own.
  • No works from any previous PSNH exhibitions.
  • Paintings must have been completed after January 1, 2024.
  • Paintings that received top awards (Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize) at any international or national juried show are not allowed.
  • No more than 1 painting per artist will be accepted.
  • Submit up to 3 digital images per artist.
  • File format: original, high-quality JPEG only (PNG and TIFF not accepted).
  • Crop images to show artwork only; no visible matting, frames, or background.
  • Orient images correctly so artwork appears in intended viewing direction.
  • Maximum file size: 30MB.
  • Images do not need to be resized; the system will handle resizing automatically.
  • PSNH Members: $40 for 3 works
  • Non-Members: $50 for 3 works
  • Payment by credit or debit card via secure checkout.
  • Entry fees are not refundable.

Work may be for sale or NFS (Not for Sale). PSNH retains a 25% commission on all artwork sold through the exhibition. Interested buyers will contact Shuk Susan Lee, who will provide the artist's contact information. All subsequent communication, payment, delivery, and shipping are handled directly between buyer and artist. The artist must notify PSNH when a sale is completed and remit 25% of the final sale price to PSNH within 10 business days. Shipping charges and applicable sales tax are not included in commission calculations.

Awards are given including cash, products, and gift certificates. Juror of Selection: Mark Ivan Cole, PSA Signature Member and Master Circle of IAPS. Juror of Awards: Vianna Szabo, PSA Signature Member and Eminent Pastelist of IAPS.

After entry submission and payment, you may log back in to review your entry, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images until the deadline (October 13, 2026). Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
