Tiger Strikes Asteroid New York and Transmitter Gallery announce TNT Residency, a 6-month fully funded 430 square foot studio adjacent to both galleries at 1329 Willoughby Avenue, culminating in a solo exhibition or open studio event within the studio space.
Residency Details
- Winter 2027 residency runs January 9 through June 20, 2027
- Studio solo exhibition or open studio event from June 5 onwards
- Resident may host an open studio during the final weekend or aligned with TSA exhibition opening on June 5
- Residencies occur in two cycles per year with separate application cycles

Eligibility
Open to artists from all educational backgrounds based across the United States and internationally. The program prioritizes underrepresented artists and artists who produce works not viable in traditional commercial markets.
Important Notes
Housing is not provided. Artists not based in New York City are responsible for securing their own living space for the residency duration. Residents may not live in or stay overnight in the studio.
