Summation 2026 December 12th – December 31st, 2026 This annual show celebrates the artist’s creative vision, journey, and process throughout the year and features some of the finest works of art produced by San Diego regional artists. ALL mediums accepted. Poets INC will produce its annual Summation publication with poetry inspired by the works of art. ELIGIBILITY You may submit artworks if you live in San Diego County or are a member of the EAP, submissions must be your original art work. ENTRY FEE You may submit up to 3 pieces. Members: $20 for one, additional $5 for each piece Public: $30 for one, additional $5 for each piece *Entry fees are non-refundable. GENERAL PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS Two-dimensional work must be wired with sufficient gauge to support the weight of the work and be ready to hang. If your work requires atypical hanging, please advise Gallery staff upon delivery. Special hanging, display and/or lighting requirements will be at the discretion of the EAP staff. Installation and multiple piece works must include a simple diagram showing installation positions. Work previously exhibited at the EAP will not be accepted. Accepted artwork may not be removed before the end of the exhibition. Artwork that fails to comply with entry requirements will be disqualified. There is a 40% commission on works sold in the exhibition. LIABILITY By submitting I acknowledge that I have read and understand the general presentation requirements of the exhibition and will abide by them. The greatest possible care will be taken in handling art works. The EAP and/or their agents will not be responsible for loss or damage to any artwork submitted. PICK UP/STORAGE OF ART WORK We have limited space for artwork storage. Accepted work must be retrieved on the pick-up date. Work that has been accepted will be stored at the Gallery pending hanging of the show. Artwork remaining at the gallery 30 days after the end of the show for which it was submitted may be donated to charity. JUROR Chantel Paul, Chantel Paul is the galleries and exhibitions coordinator for the Gallery Program in the School of Art and Design for San Diego State University (SDSU), where she leads exhibition and public programming. Prior to her work at SDSU, she served as the assistant curator at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) in San Diego, CA from 2010 - 2015. While there, she curated numerous exhibitions, including After Ansel Adams (2014), Staking Claim: A California Invitational (2013), which included an accompanying catalog, Kevin Cooley: Elements (2013) and Unusual Suspects: The Paintings and Photographs of Holly Roberts (2012). In addition to curatorial work, Paul has written for HereIn journal and has been invited to participate as a reviewer of work for nationally recognized photography festivals.
