City Hall Galleries foster a vibrant local art scene by presenting exhibitions that engage, challenge, and reflect Boston's community. The galleries are free and open to the public.

Mayor's Poetry Program
An annual program inviting Boston residents to submit poems for display throughout City Hall and in an online gallery for one year. Theme for 2026: 'Belonging', selected by Poet Laureate Emmanuel Oppong-Yeboah.
Long-term Installation
'We Belong' by Yu-Wen Wu is a light-based public art installation on the 3rd Floor Mezzanine promoting ideas of belonging and inclusion. The work features LED neon text forming a circular format with a constellation mapping Boston's neighborhoods.
