About

Overview

The District of Saanich invites artists, collectives, non-profit organizations, and cultural and community groups to apply for the 2027 Saanich Exhibition Program. The program provides opportunities to share creative work, explore ideas, connect with the community, and build professional skills in preparing and presenting exhibitions. Works in all mediums and at all stages of artistic practice are welcome.

Key Dates

  • Main Gallery at Cedar Hill Recreation & Arts Centre: June 1 – July 31, 2026 (applications accepted); Deadline 4:00 p.m., July 31, 2026
  • Gallery Spaces at Saanich Municipal Hall: Applications accepted on an ongoing basis

Eligibility

Open to artists and groups based on Southern Vancouver Island at all stages of artistic practice.

Exhibition Fees

  • Main Gallery at Cedar Hill Recreation & Arts Centre: $275 + GST if selected
  • Gallery Spaces at Saanich Municipal Hall: No fee if selected
  • Financial assistance is available to help reduce barriers to participation for eligible artists
