Overview
Padimai Art and Tech Studio invites art practitioners to apply for a three-month online residency exploring the intersection of contemporary art and blockchain technology. The residency is structured as a remote program with designed online community engagements and supports the development of research-led practices at the intersection of contemporary art and digital culture.

Theme & Focus
At the centre of this edition is OOPS, a framework that brings attention to origin, source material, archival form, and the systems through which artworks are organised and made legible. Selected artists will work across interrelated disciplines including the role of technology in shaping artistic production, blockchain as a mode of documentation and archival practice, the translation of references and source materials into digital formats, the development of methodologies for organising creative data, and the use of datasets to open new ways of accessing, interpreting, and experiencing artworks.
Eligibility
Open to international artists.
Support
Five practitioners will be selected for the first edition of the residency. Each individual will receive an honorarium of 15,000 SGD and an additional 5,000 SGD for documentation purposes including audio, video and photography.
Deliverables
At the end of the three-month residency, participants will deliver three NFTs developed during the duration of the residency to Padimai.
