How It Works
Instructors bring the idea and expertise; Cain's Creative Chaos provides the creative space and helps promote the workshop. Classes can be one-time workshops, multi-session classes, seasonal offerings, or recurring classes. Scheduling is flexible and can include weekday evenings, weekends, and other times based on instructor and studio availability.
Instructor Compensation
- Guest instructors receive 70% of workshop registration fees; Cain's Creative Chaos retains 30% when the instructor provides all materials and supplies
- Current exhibiting CCC artists receive an enhanced instructor rate as an additional benefit
- Cain's Creative Chaos provides classroom space, registration and payment processing, and promotion through marketing channels
- If Cain's Creative Chaos provides some or all materials or supplies, the revenue split will be adjusted based on materials and costs involved
- All pricing, supply needs, and compensation are agreed upon before the workshop is scheduled
- Studio rental options may be available for instructors who prefer to handle their own registration, promotion, supplies, and class administration
Who We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need formal teaching experience. We're interested in creative people who are knowledgeable and confident in their craft, enjoy helping others learn, can clearly explain project steps and techniques, are dependable and prepared, and create a welcoming, beginner-friendly experience.
