Upcoming Exhibit: Preserving Hope

This exhibit, 'Artful Meditations on California's Public Lands', will be held in the Main Gallery from February 11, 2027 to April 18, 2027. It focuses on the protection of California’s rich natural environments and cultural landscapes, promoting biodiversity and providing enjoyment for future generations.

About the Exhibit

Los Altos History Museum is seeking artists and artist teams to submit works for this art show celebrating California’s public lands. Artworks should celebrate the awe-inspiring beauty of California’s national and state parks and other protected spaces. Artists are especially encouraged to consider spaces in Los Altos, Santa Clara County, or the Peninsula. Artists are also strongly encouraged to reflect on the continued need to preserve our state’s unique natural and cultural landscapes in the face of climate- and policy-related threats, and to explore community, spiritual, and cultural subjects.
