Overview
HAUS-A-REST Issue 74 seeks submissions from artists and writers exploring Eco Materials. Materials are never neutral—they carry histories of extraction, labour, place, memory, and transformation. The call invites thoughtful, experimental, and interdisciplinary responses that challenge conventional approaches to making, whether using reclaimed, recycled, or naturally sourced materials, or exploring these ideas conceptually.
What to Submit
- Up to 3 artworks in JPEG format, or
- Up to 1,000 words of writing, or
- A combination of visual work and writing
- 3 lines of text explaining the context and how it fits the theme (required)

Artists and writers retain full copyright of their work. By submitting, you grant HAUS-A-REST permission to publish and promote your work in connection with this issue.
