They seek to empower writers with the tools to craft plays that showcase their creative vision, and challenge the Boston community to engage in the evolution of dynamic new work as it transforms from first draft to first production, and beyond.
Program Overview
BCA Launchpad Residency supports the artistic and organizational growth of an emerging Boston-area performing arts company — a theatre, dance, or music company or ensemble. This multi-year residency provides resources to further develop artistic excellence, organizational growth, and audience engagement. The program invites taking artistic risks, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary creativity, and challenging, provoking, and moving audiences.
