Get matched →The 2026 Artist Grant supports individual artists living and working in Southern Arizona (Tucson, Pima County, and Tribal Nations between the Gila River and the US-Mexico border) to provide arts services such as workshops, mentorship, artwork creation, programming, facilitation, and consultations to identified community clients. Grant funds directly support artist compensation. The program aims to restore/create jobs, incentivize arts and civic engagement, and foster viable compensation for creative work.
Individual artists (not organizations) residing and working in Southern Arizona. Applicants must identify a specific client—community organization, school, or other entity—to receive the arts services. Cost-share and matching funds are not required.
Artists may request funding to provide: new artwork creation (with required public presentation, virtual or in-person), arts programming, workshops, facilitation, mentorship, consultations, exhibitions, or other artistic services.
