Overview
Granada UNESCO City of Literature, part of the Arts Department of the Granada City Council in collaboration with the University of Granada, invites writers from around the world to participate in the International Writers in Residence Programme 2026. The programme aims to strengthen international cooperation in the cultural sector and literary creation.
Residency Details
- Two writers selected
- Duration: 30 nights, 2 November to 1 December 2026 (inclusive)
- Location: Corrala de Santiago, University of Granada
Support Provided
- Round-trip travel expenses from airport nearest to place of residence to Granada Airport
- Accommodation in a single room on full-board basis at Corrala de Santiago
- Opportunities to engage with Granada's literary life, meet local authors, and participate in workshops and educational activities
