Overview
Transart Institute's PhD programme reopens in an accelerated three-year mode combining substantial public-facing creative projects with doctoral research. Bespoke academic mentorship is provided throughout, with advisors drawn from Transart's faculty network and the option to invite external experts to your advisory team.
Programme Delivery
Offered entirely online with monthly advisor and peer research group meetings. Optional in-person Nexus Events are held throughout the year in cities such as Berlin, London, Toronto and Venice for networking, presenting, collaborating and partnering with other researchers and organisations.

Transart Institute is seeking researchers and creative practitioners contributing to transdisciplinary constellations including: Materialism & Ecological Praxis, Algorithmic & Generative Media, Somatics & Corporeality, Sonic Landscapes, Critical Urbanism & Spatial Praxis, Historiography & Speculative Futures, Radical Pedagogy & Institutional Praxis, Making Public, Crafting Media, Interfaces & Technologies, and Life Studies.
