For Whom
Visual artists interested in drawing. Experience with drawing is not required, but curiosity and willingness to explore the medium is essential. Artists must show initiative, work independently, and be comfortable spending long periods alone. Preference is given to projects explaining why they must occur at Drawing Centre Diepenheim and how they involve local residents, visitors, associations, landscape, gardens, archives, or local history research.
Facilities
Residency includes access to two residence studios (160 m²), spacious exhibition space (285 m²), various gardens, digital archive, and the extensive lithography workshop of Basement Press Diepenheim by arrangement.
Support & Presentation
The Drawing Centre team provides support and consultation. In consultation with the centre, results from both work periods will be integrated into the programme in a suitable form such as an open studio, workshop, or lecture.
Funding
The Mondriaan Fund provides a monthly contribution of €2,402 per artist to cover travel expenses, material costs, and living costs. Selected residents must pay a 10% personal contribution. For duos or collaborative partnerships, the amount increases proportionally. For artists based in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom, contributions may be increased to cover higher travel costs.

Selection Process
An advisory committee reviews submissions and proposes candidates to Drawing Centre Diepenheim, which makes the final decision. An interview may be part of the selection process. Processing time may exceed three months. For duos or partnerships, each person must submit a separate application.
