Argo residencies provide time and space to develop your practice in a social, supportive, and stimulating environment. This December session runs for 18 nights between November 30th and December 18th, 2026, in Athens, Greece. Autumn is a great time to visit—still warm and sunny, with fewer tourists, creating ideal conditions for reflection, exploration, and creative work.
Accommodation
You'll stay in a spacious apartment with two large balconies, a shared kitchen, two shared bathrooms, five bedrooms (one with private en-suite), and a large shared lounge. The location offers easy access to 13 cafes in the nearby square.
Studios & Workspace
Work in large, bright studios with private and shared options, basic materials, a woodshop, kitchen, and library. Residents benefit from personalized support, recommendations for places to visit and people to meet, and help connecting with local artists and sourcing specialized materials.
Community & Expectations
Up to seven residents at a time. Very few formal expectations. Residents often share meals, attend art shows together, and learn from fellow residents. Many leave the residency with new friendships and collaborative opportunities.
