About the Program
The Verge Regional Residency Program (VRRP) is a public program of Verge Center for the Arts designed to support the Sacramento regional arts community. The program provides visual artists financial support along with time and space to concentrate on their work, nurturing local artists from diverse backgrounds.
Residency Details
The 3-month residency is open to visual artists living locally within a 35-mile radius of Sacramento. The program welcomes all visual artists working with a wide range of mediums.
What Residents Receive
- Artist work studio at Verge Center for the Arts
- $300 monthly stipend
- Participation in Verge programming
- Opportunity to continue a paid residency at Verge upon program close (per availability)
Shared Resources
- Free admission to all Verge member programs
- Access to full service printmaking facility, kiln, and Risograph printer
- WiFi
- 300 square foot studio with 24-hour access
- Community of up to 55 artists working onsite at Verge
