MAG connects artists through exhibitions, creative opportunities, social gatherings, connection salons, and collaborative projects that make the arts more accessible and bring people together.
Steering committee volunteers help turn ideas into action. Depending on their interests and availability, volunteers may support events and programming, outreach and communications, artist opportunities, partnerships, fundraising, grant research, or community engagement. This is a hands-on opportunity for people who want to contribute their skills, build relationships, and help create meaningful opportunities for artists at every stage of their practice.
MAG is especially interested in people who enjoy collaborating, following through on projects, sharing responsibility, and helping build something with the community. You do not need to be a professional artist or have prior board experience to get involved. Artists and arts supporters with a range of skills, backgrounds, and perspectives are encouraged to reach out.
This is a volunteer position and is unpaid. Time commitments and responsibilities can vary based on the project and role.
Interested applicants should contact the Minnesota Artists Guild to learn more and start a conversation.
