Overview
Intermediate pottery wheel class designed for students who have completed the Beginner Pottery Wheel class. Students will learn about lidded containers, narrow-necked vases, and other advanced elegant forms, with instruction in glazing and decorative techniques.

Eligibility
Ages 16 and older. Designed for students who have taken the 7-week Beginner Pottery Wheel class with instructor Patricia Shook.
Cost
- $225, all materials included
- Students will be given one 25lb block of clay
Instructor
Patricia Shook teaches through demonstration and individual coaching. She holds a BA in studio art: ceramics from Mary Baldwin College and has taught pottery in Richmond and Tennessee. She specializes in helping students progress through challenges and learn methods for throwing unique shapes on the wheel.
