Accepted grantees select from a list of NOVA Parks for SOL-based outdoor field trips during school hours at no cost to students. The mission includes connecting northern Virginia citizens with the natural world through experienced naturalists offering hands-on exploration, interpretive slideshows, live animal presentations, and nature walks.
Access the Grants Portal to apply, update, or submit a grant application. You will be instructed to set up an organizational profile before applying. If your organization has applied in the past, check with other staff members to get access to the existing organization profile, which contains grant history and past applications. Do not set up a new profile unless sure your organization has not applied previously.
