APEXART 2025-26 INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL

Overview

apexart welcomes proposals for group exhibitions as part of its 2025-26 International Open Call. Five winning initiatives will each receive a $10,000 USD exhibition budget and become official apexart exhibitions in their respective locations around the world.

• Submission period: February 1 to March 1, 2025

Who may enter

Curators, artists, writers, and creative individuals regardless of experience level or location are invited to submit proposals.

What to submit

Proposals must describe a focused, idea-driven, and original group exhibition. Proposals must not exceed 500 words and must be submitted in English. Biographical information, résumés, links, and images will not be accepted.

Evaluation process

A jury from over 85 countries will evaluate submissions based on personal interest, cultural value, content, and clarity of the proposed idea. Submissions are anonymous and randomly assigned to ensure equal consideration. The jury consists of more than 600 individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, including students from 20 participating university classes.

Awards

Each of the five winning initiatives will receive a $10,000 USD exhibition budget; a printed exhibition brochure distributed to over six thousand international recipients; and the opportunity to be part of apexart's 2025-26 exhibition season. apexart provides full administrative and logistical support.
