Overview
The Ethos Celebration of the Arts is a juried outdoor art fair held in historic Downtown Franklin on October 2, 2027 from 10am-4pm. Local and regional artists showcase and sell original fine art in 2D, 3D, textile, photography, and jewelry categories. Day-of judges will award expanded prizes totaling $4,700. Eligibility
Open to local and regional artists who make their own original fine art by hand. All work must be original and made by the artist who is present at the event.

Application
Submit a minimum of 5 images representing your own original work. Final selection made by a jury of professional artists and gallery owners reviewing applications on a rolling basis. Artists will likely be notified within a month; all artists notified by September 6, 2027 at the latest.

Fees & booth costs
Application fee: Free. Once accepted, artists pay booth space fees: $100 for 10' x 10' booth or $200 for double 20' x 10' booth. Fees must be paid by the Purchase Deadline or artist forfeits their spot.
Sales & commissions
Artists keep all proceeds from sales. No sales commission collected from exhibitors. Winners of monetary prizes must submit a W9 at time of award.
Prohibited items
Not permitted: work not made by the artist by hand, imported items, commercially manufactured items, buy-and-sell items, kit-made or pattern-made items, or non-art items. Artists found selling prohibited items will be asked to leave.
