Residency Overview
Aviário Studio Printmaking Residency provides technical conditions, time, and space to develop ideas and explore new approaches in printmaking. Artists can work with relief, intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, and other techniques. The residency can serve as a moment of transition and experimentation or as consolidation of a completed body of work. Duration, focus, and outcomes are defined by the participating artist's goals.

Residency Fees

Housing & Facilities
Private bedroom in shared housing facility on campus. Residents have access to shared kitchen. No meals provided. Accommodation includes studio access during opening hours (Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and access to workshops and equipment according to participant experience.
Equipment & Workspace
- Shared and dedicated studios/shops with full-time and part-time technicians
- Printmaking workspaces: etching presses, inking tables, drying racks, light tables, hot plates, metal plate shears, paper soaking sinks, acid room, silkscreen studio with padded print tables, large exposure unit, washout room
- Additional facilities: darkroom (black and white), woodworking tools, soldering workspace, glass workspace, ceramics workspace, drawing benches, easels
