The Impetus component provides initial grants to boost the careers of early-stage and established Inuit and First Nations artists, contributing to their knowledge, recognition, professional development, and sponsorship opportunities.
$5,000 grant.
Applications are accepted at all times on a rolling basis. An application must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the project start date. Applications must be submitted using the grant application form available in the Presentation of the application section—this program is not available through Mon dossier CALQ. For groups of artists, the application must be submitted by a third party (peer or cultural worker).
