The Piedmont Park Holiday Market is a 2-day outdoor event centered around the holiday spirit of gift giving, featuring up to 100 handcrafters including painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork artisans, glass blowers, jewelers, and other crafters. The event is held in the Midtown community, which is home to one of the largest and most enthusiastic art-buying communities in metro Atlanta.

  • Minimum 4 images required to apply
  • 2-D Mixed Media: collage, papermaking, encaustic, pen and ink, paint, pencil, watercolor, or photography (wall-mounted)
  • 3-D Mixed Media: mosaic, papier mâché, clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, or other 3-dimensional objects
  • Ceramics: earthenware, porcelain, and raku
  • Digital Art: two-dimensional works manipulated by the artist using computer software
  • Drawing & Printmaking: pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels, chalk, pulled plates, linoleum, etching, engraving, silkscreen, or lithography (all prints must be signed and numbered)
  • Fiber: basketry, batik, weaving, papermaking, knitting, quilting (no embellishment of manufactured materials)
  • Glass: blown, fused, stained, cast, molded (no embellishment of manufactured materials)
  • Handcrafted: handmade items from manufactured, recycled, or repurposed materials with complete description required
  • Jewelry: crafted from metal, glass, stone, clay, or other materials (no commercial molds; at least 50% of organic materials must be produced by the artist)
  • Metal: functional and non-sculptural works
  • Painting: oils, acrylics, watercolors, tempera (wall-mounted)
  • Photography: prints, transparencies, or digital images from original negatives or digital cameras processed by the artist
  • Sculpture: three-dimensional work in any individual medium
  • Wood & Furniture: built, turned, carved, or tooled (no embellished manufactured items)
  • T-shirts and commercial clothing
  • Posters
  • Manufactured toys
  • Commercially manufactured or reproduced items (resale)
  • Jewelry made from more than 50% manufactured components
  • Items using commercially available molds or patterns
  • Snacks and water provided Saturday and Sunday
  • Limited booth sitters available during event hours upon request
  • Designated festival hotline for assistance during event hours
  • Friday load-in (no Saturday load-in)

Piedmont Park, Midtown Atlanta (1071 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta, GA 30309). Setting: outdoor. On-street parking available in surrounding neighborhood; paid parking options also available for festival-goers and artists.

A waitlist will be maintained. Selected waitlisted artists may be contacted when the Wait List is released one day prior to the event date. Artists who have not checked in by Friday at 6:00 PM will be considered a no-show; no-show artists are not eligible for refunds, and assigned space(s) will be forfeited to a wait-list artist.

There will be no rain date and fees will not be refunded in the case of inclement weather. The event will take place rain or shine.

Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales taxes. A sales tax reporting document will be provided at check-in. Current rate: 8% (Georgia 4%, Fulton County 3%, City of Atlanta 1%).
