About
Overview
Forever Young is a biennial artistic residency program for young Italian theater companies, now in its sixth edition. The program supports research, development, and production of new theatrical work, with mentorship and professional accompaniment. Five projects will be selected.
What's Offered
Selected projects receive artistic residency (15-20 days), economic support for residency and presentation fees, mentorship, and a 30-minute study presentation at L'Emilia e una notte festival (July 13-14, 2026). The winning project receives €8,000 production prize, production distribution by La Corte Ospitale for seasons 2026-2027 / 2027-2028, hosting at Teatro Herberia di Rubiera (October-December 2026), and presentation at Hystrio Prize days in Milan (2027).
Eligibility
Open to Italian theater companies with a majority of core artistic members (directors, dramaturgs, performers) under 35 years old. Professional companies not currently holding existing residencies.

Selection
Five projects will be selected by a jury panel. Selection is followed by a 30-minute study presentation at L'Emilia e una notte festival. The winning project is announced during the festival presentations.
